Gaudi Cantus is dedicated to the performance of vocal and instrumental music of 18th century Europe. The group members studied with some of the most renowned names in early music today, such as Jaap ter Linden, Sebastien Marq, Christoph Russet, Jacques Ogg, Marius van Altena and Peter van Heyghen. Each musician has performed extensively throughout Europe and abroad- with such ensembles as Academie Baroque Europenne, Le Concert Spirituel, Musica ad Rhenum, Baroque Opera Amsterdam and La Speranza Koeln- and each use their rich experiences to form this ensemble of exceptional quality and skill.
