Some 6500 separate Haggadot editions are known to us today. Each reflects the specific historical circumstances for their production and the political message they presented in text and illustration.

This year, to encourage teenagers to sit down with their parents at the Seder table, the Springboard Education Trust has launched a film, “The Book of Freedom” presenting the dramatic story of the Hagaddah. Schools and adult education centres have enthusiastically welcomed the documentary.

The film, directed by Aumie and Michael Shapiro is being adapted into Hebrew and Russian for use in Israel and Russia.
