Debbie Morgenstern

For years Debbie Morgenstern’s friends asked her to write a cook book. However, she chose to write short stories. "My Life in Israel" and other short stories proved to be critically successful. She no longer had an excuse and relented. She chose to publish a weekly cooking column which now appears on the Spiro Ark web site.

This weekly column appears under the heading of The Wacky Cook. Far from being dreary instructions, the columns are not only informative but are tinged with a lovely sense of humor. "With a gin and tonic in one hand, a spoon or knife in the other, and directions from me stuck onto the fridge, or anywhere you can see them easily while sipping, you will not only feed your friends (and not so good friends) well, but you will enjoy doing it!... Did you know that the freezer works much better if it has a large bottle of vodka in it?... I kid you not!...".

The Wacky Cook lives in Israel and all the recipes are kosher. Enjoy her rich ice cream without cream and magnificent chocolate mousse cake. All part of easy, great, tasteful-kosher cooking you will enjoy!
