Yossi Marshall
Yossi is a classically-trained pianist and composer, and has performed Beethoven and Mozart Piano concertos with orchestras and played solo concerts at Burgh and Lauderdale House in both jazz and classical music. He also plays with Dimitri Vassilakis, talismanic Greek saxophonist, and fellow jazz pianist, Jonathan Gee. He has worked with his sister, film-maker, Maria Marshall. He is recording his second album with Dimitri, Sirish and Sharratt, lyrical Indian violinist for this coming November.
Sirish Kumar
Sirish is a master tabla-player, son of a great classical singer from Uganda, and has recorded for Ennio Morricone and James Horner on soundtracks for Four Feathers and City of Joy. He has also just performed at Canterbury Cathedral in King, a new opera written by conductor, Steven Barlow and poet, Philip Wells. He is a regular performer at the National Theatre.
Rob Lavers
Magical saxophonist and composer, he has worked with Flamenco guitarist Juan Martin, percussionist Evelyn Glennie and Israeli composer and pianist, Tsivi Sharrett. He formed Pachanga, focusing on Latin American and Cuban grooves. He has also written and recorded his own album, Stretch, which is available on www.jazzcds.com. Rob has toured Italy, Denmark, Finland, Antigua, Turkey, Estonia and Spain.
Omri Schitrit
Israeli born , Omri started playing bass guitar at the age of 15, learning with the top players in Israel such as Yosi Ankri, Ziv Harpaz and Carlos Ben Ari. After the army service, he formed his jazz trio with Shmaya Cohen on guitar and Saar Gur on drums. Following a 6 month journey in South America, he started learning the bass with Yaron Stavi and played in several music projects: the Human Beings, Shrugged and Tall Baby. He is currently working with Israeli choreographer, Hofesh Schechter.
