The tenor sings of his torments of love in the best belcanto tradition: An evening of love arias and songs from Italy, Russia and Israel.
Including pieces by Tosti, Leoncavallo, Bellini, Donaudi, Cardillo, Tchaikovsky, Glinka, Adler and Wiesenberg.
Pianist Marc Verter has received a Masters’ Degree from Indiana University and from the Guildhall School of Music and Drama. He is currently a staff accompanist at the Guildhall School. He has won the Accompanist’s Prize at the Patricia Routlage Song Competition 2004 and the Geoffrey Parsons Memorial trust award for that year as well. He has performed with signers in the UK, Israel, US, Canada and Belgium.
Tenor Telman Guzhevsky has received his Post Graduate Diploma from Trinity College of Music and is being trained at the Guildhall School of Music and Drama. He has recently understudied the role of Rodolfo (La Boheme) in a production by Raymond Gubbay at the Royal Albert Hall and is going to sing the role in a BYO & London South Bank Sinfonietta production in Italy and France this July.
