Lecture by renowned journalists and authors Eilat Negev and Yehuda Koren, friends and supporters of the Spiro Ark on their annual visit and lecture for us. They will share secrets from the writer's study. How two individuals can work and write books together. They will reveal their own experience and give examples of other writers they know.

In the past 15 years Eilat and Yehuda interviewed all the Who's and Who's in the literary world: Iris Murdoc, Ted Hughes, Salman Rushdie (in hiding), Martin Amis, Will Self, Terry Pratchett, Barbara Cartland, two Nobel Lauriates- Nadine Gordimer and Tony Morrison, and all the great Israeli writers: Amos Oz, David Grossman, Yehuda Amichai, to name just a few.

They also co-authored two books: In Our Hearts We Were Giants - the remarkable story of the Liliput Troupe - a dwarf family's survival of the Holocaust, which was translated into 9 languages and was the basis for two films. The second book is Lover of Unreason, the life and tragic death of Assia Wevill, Ted Hughes's doomed love. The book got raving reviews when published last year, both in the UK and the USA. In the UK both books were launched at the Spiro Ark.
