All My Young Years: Yiddish poetry from Weimar Germany by AN Stencl by Heather Valencia, Stephen Watts and Haike Beruriah Wiegand

Dr Hayke Beruriah Wiegand has been initially a keen student and then a dedicated and excellent teacher of Yiddish at the Spiro Ark. “Many generations” of adult students who searched for contact with “Mame Loshen” have been inspired by her knowledge and musical contribution. Now it is our turn to celebrate with her the publication of her book:

Toynbee Studios is part of the Toynbee Hall complex, home of the “Friends of Yiddish”, originally founded by AN Stencl. All My Young Years is a bi-lingual poetry collection with a biographical essay on AN Stencl, completed by memoirs of him by Bill Fishman and his great niece Miriam Becker.
